Anger Management

Does your blood pressure rise quickly in seemingly unpredictable situations?  Do you find yourself hot with anger when things don’t go as planned? If so, you may be experiencing anger as a normal, even healthy emotional state.  But it is important to manage anger in a positive manner. When anger is not dealt with in a healthy way, it can negatively affect your life.  Psychotherapy can help with anger management by providing techniques, skills, and strategies to effectively regulate this emotion.

Anger management means learning to manage the anger, instead of the anger managing you.

At A Purposeful Path, all of our Anger Management interventions are individually based.  We do not offer any groups at this time.

We do work with you to create an individualized treatment plan that meets your Anger Management needs.  If you have court-ordered anger management requirements, individual sessions can count towards your requirement.  We have found that people can get MORE out of individually based anger management, for there is more attention given to the actual psychological underpinnings of the challenges creating the anger management issue.
